Mission Statement

The mission of the Germantown Soccer Club (herby known as "GSC" or the "Club") is to develop the physical, mental, and emotional growth and fitness of the community’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition. Our mission is accomplished through encouragement and education of players and their coaches and parents in the following respects:

1) To provide each player with the opportunities to improve individual soccer skills.

2) To encourage players to give their best.

3) To emphasize family participation.

4) To stress soccer as a team sport.

5) To demand and expect good sportsmanship by all players, coaches, & spectators.

6) To instill the knowledge and enjoyment of the game of soccer.

GSC is a region of Milwaukee Kickers, one of the largest (over 6000 members) and most successful Soccer Clubs in the Midwest, This affiliation provides us access to soccer related resources such as top coaches, turf fields, and indoor facilities, and special deals with the Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team to add to our abundance of premier soccer fields, right here in Germantown.

Milwaukee Kickers is a member of the state Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) which provides state wide soccer programming guidelines and leagues.

WYSA is a member of the US Youth Soccer organization which provides national soccer programming guidelines.

Players in GSC come from many surrounding areas such as Northwest Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties.

GSC recreational teams play in a league run by Milwaukee Kickers.  These teams can play other Kickers teams in the Metro-Milwauke area such as Whitefish bay, Nicolet, Shorewood, Brown Deer, Wauwatosa, New Berlin, Muskego, Mukwonogo, Franklin, Oak Creek, Milwaukee.  See the Rec &  Academy Page for more details.

GSC select teams play in the most competitive state leagues at the division appropriate for each team’s experience.  All GSC teams also participate in assorted soccer tournaments throughout Wisconsin.
Because of the large numbers of members in our soccer club, we are typically able to find a team that matches any player’s skill level, financial situation, or commitment.  See the Select Page for more details.

Feel free to contact any Board Member with any questions you may have.
